Certification carries value only when it is issued by an impartial body that respects confidentiality. Miyar Belgelendirme has bound these two principles to a written policy by decision of its board.
Impartiality
- We provide no consulting; we neither promote nor refer to a related consultancy
- An auditor cannot audit an organisation they consulted for within the last two years
- The certification decision is taken by an independent person or committee who did not take part in the audit
- Commercial pressure, gifts and awards are prohibited; auditors sign an annual declaration of interests
Confidentiality
All information obtained during the audit is not shared with third parties except where required by law. Nothing other than the certificate holder's name, scope and certificate status is disclosed publicly. Our auditors and board members give a written confidentiality undertaking.
Complaints and appeals
You can submit complaints or appeals against decisions via the relevant form on our site. Complaints are answered within five working days and appeals are concluded within 30 days by a committee that took no part in the audit. The right of appeal is not subject to a fee.
